Learn How to Tie a Basic Slipknot to Incredibly

Slipknot – The foremost thing you need to know is the measurement you will be using to make the slipknot necklace or bracelet. About 50cm for the bracelet and about 85cm for the necklace might be ok. These measurements are for a 2mm cable. The thicker it is, the more rope you will need.

How do you make a slip knot for bracelets and pendants step by step?

How do we make two variations of the slipknot step by step with this type of rope?

The slip knot is straightforward to make. Here we show you two different ways to tie the knot, just as easy and quick to do.

First Variant of the Slipknot

First step:

The foremost thing we will do is cut a piece of rope or leather cord about 60 – 70 cm long to make a pendant.

Remember that the length will vary depending on whether we are making a bracelet or a pendant and the thickness of each person’s wrist and neck, so we take measurements first.

Once we have the measurements for the bracelet or pendant, place both ends of the rope or leather cord in a circle and place the limitations parallel on top of each other.

Second step:

Next, you must fold one of the ends (left or right) to form a loop that will lie over the other end of the rope or leather cord while holding it with your fingers.

First Loop over Loop to Make a Slip Knot

Once the bow is complete, you need to make an initial twist with the rope’s end or leather cord inside the bubble. After winding up the bow and the rest of the string or twine, we go back to do another twist and adjust a little.

  • first entire loop over loop to make a slip knot
  • second loop over loop to make a slip knot

Finally, we make a third twist and pass the end of the rope or cord through the back of the loop. Next, we hold the future with our fingers, tightening the circle.

Third, Fold the Loop Over and Put the End of the Cord Through the Loop to Make a Slipknot

  • Complete the first Slipknot
  • The second variant of the Slipknot

first step :

As in the previous variant, if we want to make a pendant, we first cut a piece of rope or leather cord about 60-70 cm long.

Once we have the measurements for the bracelet or pendant, we should place both ends of the rope or leather cord in a circle and the limitations parallel to each other.

Second step:

After making the circle parallel with the two ends of the rope or rope, we take one of the ends and make a loop by passing the end under the loop and the rest of the cord or rope. You must leave enough lines to make another loop. The second way to make a slipknot, form a loop and pass the end of the cord under the cord.

Once the first loop is made, we make a second loop on top of the previous one. This one must be more or less the same size as the previous one. A second way to make a slipknot, make a double loop over the previous one.

After making the two loops, we can make a third one. Next, we take the end of the rope or rope that needs to be under both circles and the rest of the string and thread the future through the inside of the loops. Finally, we hold the end and tighten the noose.
